Reading God's Mind

Last Sunday at Boloco we had the last of what have been excellent sessions from Buddy Owens focusing on worship. The last session was based around the importance of the Word of God - the Bible. Buddy pointed out that for our minds to be renewed (Romans 12:1-2), we need to read God's mind and we can do this through His word. He used a great analogy of a teabag in a cup of warm water - if we just dip it in for a few seconds there is no change but if the teabag is left in for 15 minutes, the water changes. His point was that is we are prepared to read God's word and let it soak into our souls, we will be changed as we put on the mind of Christ. He provided a very practical approach to reading the Bible, based on driving around for an outing and I have put these points into a link to use which may help people in the Bible reading:
